After months of searching for a sailboat that had retired from its days on the water, we found this beauty sitting by herself at Lake Hefner in Oklahoma City. We adopted her and brought her to float in the center of the Sailor & the Dock market collective.

Thousands of sailboats end up in landfills each year, and all of that fiberglass sits in the earth forever.
Our founder fulfilled on his vision to create a living example of sustainability and implementing “repurpose” in construction by saving this boat just before it was hauled to get crushed in a landfill. Instead of becoming waste, it was transformed into a bar that floats in the center of the venue as a statement.
