Attention all Bachateros!!! Join us every 2nd Thursday for a spectacular night of dance and music at OKC's newest hotspot, "Sailor & The Dock." We're launching a dynamic Friday night dance series. Your host, DJ Jaime, will be playing the best of Dominican and Sensual/Urban Bachata to satisfy all the Bachata lovers.

Music on deck! 

DJ Jaime will be dialing up the heat with 95% Bachata tunes, topped off with a dash of Salsa, Kizomba, and Afro beats. Don't miss out on this exciting event that promises to be a feast for the senses and a celebration of rhythm and movement. See you on the dance floor!

Join SwingOut OKC for vintage swing dance classes every 3rd Monday of the month.

Lesson: 7pm

Social dancing from 8pm-10pm

About SwingOut OKC:

Mission: Swingout OKC is dedicated to facilitating, sustaining, and growing the swing dance  community of the greater Oklahoma City area by providing educational and social swing dance  opportunities. We strive to promote a forward thinking scene while preserving the historical  culture of the dance. Vision: Become a community hub for all forms of swing dance, spurring integration of the  diverse people of the greater Oklahoma City area through intentional outreach and fostering a  safe and welcoming community for education and expression in the form of swing and jazz  dance Values: We greatly value inclusion of all people regardless of gender presentation, religion,  sexuality, age, race, or creed. We lead with the historical context of swing dancing as a Black  American dance that is connected to jazz music.

This weekend of celebration will start with a PARTY on Friday Sept 20th from 4 PM to 10 PM, featuring local live musicians & DJs during the ceremony, rollout of a NEW cocktail menu @ the Dock Bar, enjoying multi-layered cake by Que Bella Bakery featuring all the Sailors, feature of additional local popup vendors, and a recap of our story with a look into our future!  

There will be exciting happenings throughout the weekend from scavenger hunts, show-cases,  activities like face-painting, giveaways, food and drink specials, shop promotions, live DJ & Music, and much more!

"Ground control to Major Tom!" This month’s paint and sip theme encompasses all things SPACE! Join local artist, Impermanent State, for a unique spin on the traditional paint and sip event. Choose your own handmade space inspired wood burned art piece to paint in your personal aesthetic. Each ticket includes a drink from the Dock Bar, entry into a raffle where everyone wins something, a free mini gift, and a one-of-a-kind 6x6 space wood burning. 

"Take your protein pills and put your helmet on!" Blast off is at 7:00pm on Saturday September 21!

, as I call this menu, is simple but cooked with love and passion, everything will be served on clay plates to better enjoy the flavors from where I come from, Guatemala....   As I introduce to you a little bit of my love for Hispanic cuisine and my culture, I invite you to bring your friends and family as this menu is created to celebrate love, colors, culture and more importantly, the community.

Bailando Bash is a monthly Latin Dance party that coincides with the West Village District’s Fourth Friday. We aim to provide a fun and unique downtown experience for the existing Oklahoma City dance community, while also welcoming any West Village District passersby into potentially taking up a new hobby! What's included with the ticket Every social will include an introductory Latin dance lesson. taught by volunteer instructors from various dance studios in the OKC metro area. We then dance until 2am, with music being played from the genres of salsa, bachata, merengue, cha cha cha, and kizomba!
