WHO: Small biz owners, creatives, side hustlers, and everything in between - new faces are welcome and there is no membership required

WHAT: A designated time to connect with other entrepreneurs in the area, including intros around the room and roundtable discussions

WHEN: Doors open at 6pm on Thursday February 6th and we'll begin our group discussions promptly at 6:15pm

WHERE: 617 West Sheridan Avenue - Oklahoma City, OK 73102 - inside Sailor and the Dock on historic Film Row (just down the street from Jones Assembly and Myriad Botanical Gardens)

WHY: To build community, collaborate with others, brainstorm, talk shop, get ideas and advice, and CONNECT with one another!

HOW MUCH: Our events are completely FREE! Members and guests are encouraged to support the small business at Sailor and the Dock for shopping hours before our meetups and/or responsibly purchase a yummy mocktail or cocktail from the Dock Bar while attending a meeting. FREE parking is available in the lot at 608 W. Sheridan Ave for these events as well.

BachAmor Bachata Night

Join us every 2nd Friday of the month as BachAmor, Oklahoma’s Premier Latin Dance Experience, brings their signature BachAmor Bachata Night to Sailor & the Dock.

 Founded by DJ Jaime, a seasoned dancer and DJ in the Oklahoma Latin dance community, this night is all about dancing to the beautiful rhythms of not only Bachata, but also Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and more!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a curious newcomer, this event is for YOU!

New or curious? Meet new friends and connect with a welcoming community that has made BachAmor a standout in OKC.

LOVE & PORTRAITS Paint and Sip Event  

This Valentine’s Day weekend, seize the opportunity to participate in the hilarious viral trend of painting your loved one’s portrait. Don’t worry if you feel like you are not artistically inclined, there will be a helpful tutorial before the painting begins but the fun truly lies in the hilarity of the reveal.

Each ticket covers two people (couples, friends, or family), which includes two drinks from The Dock Bar, Valentine’s Day themed raffle, and a personalized hand wood burned heart!

Mission: Swingout OKC is dedicated to facilitating, sustaining, and growing the swing dance  community of the greater Oklahoma City area by providing educational and social swing dance  opportunities. We strive to promote a forward thinking scene while preserving the historical  culture of the dance. Vision: Become a community hub for all forms of swing dance, spurring integration of the  diverse people of the greater Oklahoma City area through intentional outreach and fostering a  safe and welcoming community for education and expression in the form of swing and jazz  dance Values: We greatly value inclusion of all people regardless of gender presentation, religion,  sexuality, age, race, or creed. We lead with the historical context of swing dancing as a Black  American dance that is connected to jazz music.

Come celebrate National Margarita day with us on February 22nd.

On this Sunday afternoon trip to Flametree Farms, a regenerative and pesticide free small batch orchard in San Diego, CA, you’ll learn not only about our farm’s story and specific farming practices, but also get a full taste of what’s in season… you’ll taste arguably some of the worlds best tasting oranges, as well as a few exotic fruits you may have yet to try!  While you pop your champagne bottle open, we’ll cut up some freshly picked late season pick of spring fruits such as seedless Naval oranges, grapefruit, special lemon varieties and more from our farm!   We will talk about our unique passion-driven story and farming practices, while preparing the juice flight (4 unique tastes) to create the perfect mimosa pair.

Bailando Bash is a monthly Latin Dance party that coincides with the West Village District’s Fourth Friday. We aim to provide a fun and unique downtown experience for the existing Oklahoma City dance community, while also welcoming any West Village District passersby into potentially taking up a new hobby! What's included with the ticket Every social will include an introductory Latin dance lesson. taught by volunteer instructors from various dance studios in the OKC metro area. We then dance until 2am, with music being played from the genres of salsa, bachata, merengue, cha cha cha, and kizomba!
