About SwingOut OKC:

Mission: Swingout OKC is dedicated to facilitating, sustaining, and growing the swing dance  community of the greater Oklahoma City area by providing educational and social swing dance  opportunities. We strive to promote a forward thinking scene while preserving the historical  culture of the dance. Vision: Become a community hub for all forms of swing dance, spurring integration of the  diverse people of the greater Oklahoma City area through intentional outreach and fostering a  safe and welcoming community for education and expression in the form of swing and jazz  dance Values: We greatly value inclusion of all people regardless of gender presentation, religion,  sexuality, age, race, or creed. We lead with the historical context of swing dancing as a Black  American dance that is connected to jazz music.

Join us for a refreshing 1-hour SereneLife Yoga class designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and invite presence. After class, you’re welcome to stay and sip with your community—enjoy one complimentary mimosa or non-alcoholic mimosa, and take in the summer vibes as we celebrate connection and ease. 

 What’s included: 

 • Serenelife Yoga Class (11:00 – 12:00) An intentional flow blending breath, movement, and mindfulness.

This is a night where the community come together for an evening of live music, sidewalk activities, and pop-up markets! You’ll also find unique offers and specials from local businesses within the West Village, and activities such as a FREE salsa or bachata Latin dancing class + dancing in front of Sailor & The Dock!

Bailando Bash is a monthly Latin Dance party that coincides with the West Village District’s Fourth Friday. We aim to provide a fun and unique downtown experience for the existing Oklahoma City dance community, while also welcoming any West Village District passersby into potentially taking up a new hobby! What's included with the ticket Every social will include an introductory Latin dance lesson. taught by volunteer instructors from various dance studios in the OKC metro area. We then dance until 10pm, with music being played from the genres of salsa, bachata, merengue, cha cha cha, and kizomba!

Plant Monsters Wood burned Paint & Sip

Join local artist, Impermanent State, for a unique spin on the traditional paint & sip events. Choose your very own handmade wood burned creature, and paint it to reflect your personal aesthetic. Each creature will be a one-of-a-kind art piece complete with a wooden post attached. Bring them home to decorate any of your indoor potted plants. Give your beloved "green babies" a personalized friend this summer! Each ticket includes a handmade plant monster, a crafted drink (any on the menu) from the Dock Bar, guidance for best painting practices on wood, and an entry into a raffle where everyone wins something!

Mini Hoop Keychain Embroidery Workshop

Join us for a relaxing and creative evening where you’ll learn how to make your own mini hoop embroidered keychain! This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for ages 12 and up—no prior experience necessary.

 What to Expect:

A guided, hands-on session covering the basics of hand embroidery

All materials provided, including mini hoops, fabric, thread, needles, and keychain hardware

A chance to create your own unique design or follow along with a template

A free hand crafted Mocktail while you work

Leave with a finished keychain you can proudly carry or gift!

Join us every 2nd Friday of the month as BachAmor, Oklahoma’s Premier Latin Dance Experience, brings their signature BachAmor Bachata Night to Sailor & the Dock.

 Founded by DJ Jaime, a seasoned dancer and DJ in the Oklahoma Latin dance community, this night is all about dancing to the beautiful rhythms of not only Bachata, but also Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and more!
